What You Need to Know About the Pineal Gland and the Secret to Psychic Abilities
The Pineal gland is one of the most fascinating organs in the human body. It's located in the brain and is about the size of a grain of rice. Located between the eyebrows and our eyes, the pineal gland is often referred to as the third eye, and it has been linked to intuition and even psychic abilities. Descartes, a famous philosopher, even talked about the pineal gland or third eye as the “principal seat of the soul.” The gland produces a hormone called melatonin which regulates the quality and duration of your sleep. This also contributes to your other hormone levels, stress levels, and physical health. So regulating your sleep and getting into a good routine will really help your pineal gland and the production of melatonin which will keep you healthy. The pineal gland is also linked to our spiritual consciousness. Because it looks like a pinecone, it was named the pineal gland, and there are references to pinecones and the pineal gland throughout history. References in ancient Egyptian culture and even in Catholicism point to the pineal gland being an important part of the human body.
It's also called the third eye because it actually has all of the components of our seeing eyes. There are cones and rods in the pineal gland just like there are in our eyes, and the third eye is also connected to the visual cortex. There are crystals inside the third eye that give us the ability to see with our inner vision or what's also referred to as our mind's eye. This is how the third eye is also connected to our psychic abilities as well. So you may wonder why some people are called psychics and some are not? Usually, people are absorbing so many chemicals in the food they eat, the water they drink and the air they breathe. All of these chemicals apparently calcify the pineal gland which blocks its natural function. Luckily, there are some things that you can do to increase the health of your third eye and your spiritual health. One of the best ways to help your third eye is to get enough sun exposure. Exposure to the sun will stimulate the production of melatonin and serotonin. So go out for a walk every day and get some sun. Also, sleeping in complete darkness is also best for your pineal gland so it can produce enough melatonin for a deep, restful sleep.
Meditation is also wonderful and helps the pineal gland restore itself and keeps it producing melatonin properly. You can do a meditation before you go to bed to relax your body and mind before you drift off to sleep. You can even check out binaural beats which are sound meditation practices that use different sound frequencies to activate various parts of the brain. Eating healthy will also help you keep the third eye and pineal gland in good shape. Make sure you're eating enough fruits, vegetables and natural foods. Herbs are also wonderful for the third eye. Staying away from processed foods the majority of the time will also help you to stay healthier as well. Some say that avoiding fluoride will help to keep your pineal gland healthy. In this case, you can find toothpaste without fluoride in them as well as get filtered water or a water filtration system in your house. Make sure you also get enough exercise, and it also helps to turn off your screens near the end of the day so your body can get into sleep mode.
